| Description | Cremation volume for Čhaochō̜m ‘Oēp [เจ้าจอม เอิบ]. Includes what appears to be a reproduction of an artist’s portrait of the crematee, as well as a one page biographical sketch. Also includes two photographs of King Chulalongkorn, a facsimile of a letter from King Chulalongkorn addressed to the crematee, and a brief note on the use of this volume. The main text, 212 pages, comprises the twentieth volume of King Chulalongkorn’s diary for the period Friday, October 9, 1885 to Saturday, April 3, 1886. Note: this volume contains a similar chronological error. Entries for April 1, 2, 3, should all be dated 1886, not 1885. | |
