The National Assembly Building was formerly a compound which included the School of Administration or Krommakar School and the Higher School of Pali. After many years of civil war, the National Assembly was reopened again in 1993 following the first national election supervised by the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC). On July 7, 2007 the National Assembly was moved to a new location and this building is given into use by the Supreme Court of the Ministry of Justice.
