This photo, taken by Rodrigo O. Velez c. 1920, shows the damage done to Forbes Bridge in Cebu by a flood that hit the city. The ruins of the bridge are on the foreground while to the left looking down to the Recoletos Church along Magallanes Street was the house of Tanciong Tenchaves. Next to it now stands the Monte de Peidad. Opposite was the house of the Ramas and that of the Samsons. Far end beyond the church tower is now occupied by the Labucay Building.
