Inscription: Magallanes Street
An overview of Calle Alfonso XIII which had been renamed years ago in Magallanes Street, as pictured from corner Manalili Street in 1930's. Note numerous bazars [bazaars] operated by Japanese and Chinese as well as the Cebuanos where one could buy clothes, shoes, sporting good and what have you at a minimal price. The "parada" or tartanilla in those years dominated the busy street.
Mounted on photographic mounting card, 285 X 222 cm.
