Includes three photographs, one a portrait of the crematee, a second of the crematee with his wife and other members of his family, and a third of the front hall at Phraʻāthit Palace. Introduction, 31/2 pages, includes an explanatory note on terminology and the use of rāchāsap, i.e. official court language. In addition, there is a brief note on the importance of this text to understanding the history of Thailand during the reign of King Chulalongkorn. The main text, 148 pages, comprises the tenth volume of King Chulalongkorn’s diary for the period Monday, June 7, 1880 to Monday, November 1, 1880.
