This paper aims to analyze the interior layout of the Tahanang Pilipino as an expression of Filipino national identity informed by the Marcos Administration and its Kilusang Bagong Lipunan of 1972 to 1986. Grounded in architectural drawings, political manifestos, academic journals, and interviews, the examination of the Tahanang Pilipino here demonstrates how national identity and political power are established and enacted via state architecture within their distinct spatial and temporal contexts.
