Summary:
One upon the time, there were a very poor couple have married for 7 years, unfortunately they have no child. Thus, they asked for a child from Indra.
The Indra gave them a son. Before pregnant the mother dreamed that the black marble was falling into her mouth, and then it flied away and threw the
light upon. Later on, she delivered an ugly boy, had a skin dark like a crow. People laughed at him, so the mother was ashamed to have him in the
family. She floated him on a raft.
On the day seventh, the raft reached to the beach. The Indra saw that the black child (Thao Kinnary) undergone trouble. Therefore, he sent the black
crow to look after the black child and brought him to the town name "Bengjan". Since the boy was being with the black crow, he was named "Kam Ka Dam"
or a really black crow.
In Bengjan, the black boy was adopted by the gardener until he grew up. The young men had a gift in making a garland and play Khan'a kind of reed
mouth organ in northeastern Thailand. One day, the gardener presented his beautiful garland to Princes Lun, the youngest daughter of the King. She
would like to see the garland maker. When they met, Kadam was falling in love with the Princess Lun. He looked for a chance to talk to her. At the
night time he played Khan for people, this made he was well known. Then he had a chance to play Khan for the king, this time he has an opportunity
speak to princes Lun. He striped the mask off, presented his charming to the young princes. That night he got the princes to be his wife.
When he came back home, he asked the gardener to ask for the king permission to marry the Princes Lun. The king asked for the expensive dowries which
Kadam could not offer. Thus, Indra came to help Kadam. He changed Kadam to be a new good looking, and gave him the dowries the king asked from him.
At the end Kadam became the king.s son-in-law and lived happiness with Princes Lun.
