The present volume is dedicated to Prince Nakhō̜nrātchasīmā, son of King Chulalongkorn, in recognition of his meritorious conduct and good deeds. The volume includes several photographs, one taken in 1901 of the Prince dressed in full royal regalia; another taken in 1901 when the Prince entered the monkhood; another, dated 1903, of the Prince as a military cadet; another of the Prince with Queen Sīphatcharinthrā, Prince Sukhōthaithammarāchā (later to be known as King Prajadhipok), Prince Phitsanulōkprachānāt, and Prince Phetchabūnʻintharāchai; another taken in 1907 of the Prince with King Chulalongkorn in Europe; and lastly, one of the Prince taken in 1908 as a student in Europe. The volume also includes a brief introduction written by Prince Damrongrāchānuphāp and a table of contents. The main text, 115 pages in length, documents King Chulalongkorn’s visits to various locales along the east coast of the Malay peninsula.
