Upon consulting the Copyright Act B.E. 2537 (Thailand), it seems reasonable to conclude that the present written work is no longer under copyright protection. Part 4, Section 19 of the Act states: “Copyright by virtue of this act subsists for the life of the author and continues to subsist for fifty years after the death of the author.” In the event that the present work is still under copyright protection, part 6, sections 32 and 34 state: “any act against the copyright work... shall not be deemed an infringement of copyright if the act [of reproduction] is not for profit.”

Cremation volume for Čhaophrayā Phairātchāmahā Yuttithamathō̜n [เจ้าพระยาอภัยราชามหา ยุติธรรมธร]. Includes one photograph of the crematee, a brief explanatory note on the use of rāchāsap, i.e. official court language, and a ten page biographical sketch of the crematee. The main text, 312 pages, comprises the sixteenth volume of King Chulalongkorn’s diary for the period Tuesday, October 2, 1883 to Wednesday, March 26, 1883.
